Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (Allgemeine Geschäftsbedingungen, AGB) govern the use of Peilo’s services. By registering or using the Service, you accept these terms.

Scope
These Terms apply to all contracts between Peilo GmbH (“Provider”) and its customers (“User”) concerning the use of the website, the dashboard and the API. Deviating terms of the User apply only if the Provider expressly agrees to them in writing.
Subject matter of the contract & services
The Provider makes available a software-as-a-service platform for measuring and optimizing brand visibility in AI search engines. The specific scope of features depends on the selected plan as set out in the pricing overview. The Provider may further develop features as long as the core contractual benefit is preserved.
Registration & account
An account is required to use the Service. The User is obliged to provide truthful information, to keep access credentials confidential and to inform the Provider without delay if misuse is suspected. An account is not transferable.
Prices & payment
The prices stated at the time of ordering apply, plus statutory VAT. Billing takes place – depending on the plan – monthly or annually in advance via our payment service provider.
- Free trial periods end automatically unless continued on a paid plan.
- In the event of default in payment, the Provider may temporarily suspend access.
Term & termination
The contract runs for the selected billing period and renews automatically for the same duration unless terminated by the end of the period. Termination is possible at any time in your account. The right to extraordinary termination for good cause remains unaffected.
User obligations
The User undertakes not to misuse the Service. In particular, it is prohibited to:
- circumvent or test the security of the Service without permission;
- use the Service for unlawful purposes or to infringe the rights of third parties;
- place automated load on the API beyond the agreed rate limits.
Availability
The Provider strives to ensure high availability of the Service. Maintenance windows and incidents are communicated in advance via the status page where possible. A claim to uninterrupted availability exists only within the scope of an expressly agreed SLA.
Liability
The Provider is liable without limitation in cases of intent and gross negligence, as well as for injury to life, body or health. In cases of slight negligence, the Provider is liable only for the breach of essential contractual obligations and limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract. Visibility data provided constitutes estimates; a specific placement in AI search engines is not guaranteed.
Data protection
The processing of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy. Where the Provider processes personal data on behalf of the User, the parties conclude a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.
Final provisions
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). If the User is a merchant, the place of jurisdiction is the Provider’s registered office. Should individual provisions be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected. Changes to these Terms will be communicated at least 30 days before they take effect.
